A Deeply Personal Work of Art

We’ve loved Erik’s artwork for years and decided we wanted a commissioned piece for our home. The result was perfect! He totally captured the essence of our home, lifestyle, and our community… all in a single painting!

Erik’s process was straightforward. He began with a ‘collage’ of images of us, our home, our dog, etc. and then started a series of sketches. At several points, he shared his progress with us to get our feedback and make adjustments as needed.

Erik struck the perfect balance of working with us while retaining his artistic vision. The result is a piece of art that feels deeply personal, but is truly a work of fine art!
